Ideal holiday for families with teenagers

Castell Montgri on the Costa Brava is great for families with teenagers as there's lots to keep them occupied with 3 pool complexes, sports, an underground disco, cinema and live entertainment.

The parc's only a short stroll from Estartit where there's activities such as sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, karting and quad bikes to name but a few. No-one could be bored staying at this parc - in fact you'll probably only see the teens at mealtimes.

Swimming pools

With three complexes to choose from at Castell Montgri, there's something for everyone here. Try sunbathing on the grassy slopes around the Olympic sized Panorama pool or whizz down the four slides and watershutes at the L'Ombra pool. In high season the lagoon style La Bassa pool with its waterfalls is open as well. Don't worry if you seem to have no time to swim during the day as all the pools are open until midnight and are fully supervised with trained life guards.

Activities

This lively parc has a wide choice of activities so there's always lots to do, ideal for families holidaying with teenagers: organised sports and games, enjoy football, tennis, mini golf, table tennis and trampolining, or beating your friends at the pool tables available in both bars.

Eating out

Won't worry about getting hungry if Mum and Dad aren't BBQ-ing, just visit the take away, creperie or snack bar, or enjoy one of the delicious ice creams from the parcs's own ice cream parlour. The on-parc restaurant also offers good value meals.

Entertainment

Open every evening the sound-proofed disco is a great place to meet new friends or try the karaoke in the piano bar. Entertainment and shows are regularly organised by the parc team plus you can listen to live music twice weekly. For somewhere a little quieter visit the open air cinema, which shows two movies every night.

Nearby activities

Stroll into Estartit and teenagers will be spoilt for choice with the range of sports and activities. For watersports try sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing or canoeing. If this isn't for you why not hire a bike, play golf or go riding - there's lessons, or riding excursions if you're more experienced. Racing dare devils can go karting in the two seater or super karts or try the quad biking excursions and tracks. Or why not spend the day at the Aquabrava Waterpark which has a great selection of pools, waterslides, waterchutes and a wave machine.

On-parc couriers

Eurocamp couriers are on hand to greet you and to assist you throughout your holiday. They can offer advice on local restaurants, nearby shops and supermarkets and local attractions and days out for all the family such as the Aquabrava Waterpark and Salvador Dali Museum.
