Toddler holiday Parc

Les Ecureuils parc at St Hilaire-de-Riez in the Vendée is the perfect place for a toddler holiday. Located within close proximity to the beach, it is a friendly parc with excellent facilities. A firm favourite with families, Les Ecureuils is family-run and superbly maintained.

The superb outdoor pool comes complete with a waterslide, which will keep the children quiet for hours and if the sun gets too warm, then take a dip in the indoor pool with fountain, which children seem to find equally exciting!

As the evening draws nearer, you could take a nice stroll along the golden sandy beach just across the road from the parc. Alternatively, you may wish to have a relaxing drink at the bar, which in high season is also where the family discos are held. If a two-step is not really your thing, then you could enjoy a meal in the equally appealing restaurant.

In-keeping with the toddler holiday theme, the parc supermarket is well stocked with essentials and is open from June onwards.

Should you visit between the 13-16th May, you could travel to Vivonne for the world music festival, where musicians from around the world travel to participate in this annual festival of folk music. If you prefer Jazz, then you will love the Jazzellerault Festival in Charellerault, which is held between 20th-29th May. For Jazz fans travelling later in the season, you may well wish to make the short journey to Nantes where you will find the Rendezvous de L’Erdre jazz and blues festival, which is free to visit between 26th-28th August.
