Loire Valley

The Loire is known as the "Garden of France" and is home to more than a thousand châteaux, some of France's top vineyards and rolling green countryside.

Wine tasting is highly recommended whilst in the area. Including the classic Sauvignon Blanc, with its succulent gooseberry flavours and the deep red Loire Cabernet Franc, full of rich raspberry flavours and a perfect partner for local pate and cheese.

For a day out with a difference why not hop on a train and visit Paris, just a stones throw away. Take a stroll around the many winding streets, enjoy lunch in one of the cities many superb cafes or explore some of the world-famous sights.
