Pointe St Gilles - Benodet France

Pointe St. Gilles is a great resort, based in Benodet, France. It is ideal for a family holiday, with its beautiful sandy beaches and selection of swimming pools. The parc has amazing facilities and can cater for all levels of interest. You can visit the new pool complex and choose to either relax in the spa, or you can spend time with the children in the waterslides.

You will also find a spa where you can relax and de-stress yourself or chill out in the Jacuzzi, ensuring you make the best of your time away from home. The parc is so highly regarded that it has even been awarded the prestigious La Clef award. You also have a supermarket on the resort, but for those who believe holidays are all about relaxing; there is a takeaway for your convenience.

Stepping outside Pointe St. Gilles, you can take a scenic coastal walk to the lively seaside resort of Benodet, with its long sheltered beach at the ocean side, amusements for the kids to play in and the wonderful buildings that line the seafront. Here you will also find a wide selection of pretty cafes along the promenade and delightful restaurants and creperies are in abundance.

There are plenty of things to do in the Benodet and the surrounding area, particularly festivals, which are abundant. At Perros Guirec between 12-14th August, you can experience the Internation Festival de la cite des Hortensias. If you happen to be in the area a little sooner, then you could see the Festical des Ramparts in Dinan which is a 2 day even starting on 23rd July and features medieval knights, which is very befitting of this delightful medieval city.

All in all, Pointe St. Gilles parc is a great all-rounder and will provide fun for all the family. The newly built pool complex is certainly impressive, whilst the catering facilities and amenities are also excellent. There are even disco evenings which are organised by the parc owners and are popular with teenagers.

Pointe St. Gilles is also a great base from which to explore the region and Benodet should certainly be on your list of “things to see” when staying here. The coastal walks will allow you to enjoy the great outdoors, whilst providing spectacular views out to sea. This is certainly a parc which appeals to all ages and it is no surprise that people visit time and time again.
