Discover Island life

Discover Island life with Eurocamp and visit one of our sun filled island destinations...

Sicily

Sicily

With more than five million inhabitants, Sicily is one of the most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe. It's commonly known as God's kitchen, due to its production of amazing cuisines and fine wines. These alone are well worth a visit.

Just 25 miles from Sicily's Trapani airport, El Bahira parc in San Vito lo Capo, SC011 is a great place to stay and has fantastic facilities. So if you're looking to soak up some culture as well as some sun, then this parc is just what you're looking for.

Corsica

Corsica

Corsica is the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean and is considered one of the 26 regions of France, even though it's much closer to Italy. Two thirds of this astonishing island are made up of mountains and a fifth is covered in pine forests, so its scenery is extremely diverse.

A great day out can be spent at the stunning Scandola Nature reserve, you could easily spend a lazy day there. But make sure you plan ahead as you can only get there by boat.

Why not plan your stay around Eurocamp's Via Romana parc, CR018? Its vibrant atmosphere and modern facilities make it ideal for families of all ages.

Sardinia

Sardinia

The island of Sardinia may fall second to Sicily in terms of size, but it wins the race in terms of music. It's home to one of the oldest forms of traditional folk music which can be heard all over the the island. But music isn't the only reason to visit. From the thermal baths to Neptune's grotto, Sardinia is full of mysterious and wonderful finds - Our Baia Blu La Tortuga parc, SA011, is a great place to discover them from. It has a fabulous coastal location with spectacular beaches. We're sure that once you've walked on the footprint shaped isle, you'll never want to leave.

Il de Ré

Ile de Re

Ile de Ré is an island that sits just off La Rochelle on the west coast of France. Getting there is easy, especially now there's a 3km bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Ile de Ré translates as the 'white island bathed with light' and certainly lives up to its name, the beaches are famous for their white sands and surf. It's graced with ten beautiful villages and acres of luscious countryside. The best way to see it is by bike with tracks covering the full 30 km length and taking you to places you wouldn't go to by foot.

Stay at the camping Les Ilates parc, AT013. It's a peaceful place, ideal for families wanting to get away from it all.

Elba

Elba

The island of Elba is just off the coastal town of Piombino. As the largest island of the island of the Tuscan Archipelago, it's the third largest Italian island after Sicily and Sardinia. It's also where you can find the Rosselba le Palme parc, IN019, which has direct access to a superb, clean sandy beach. Elba used to be well known for its cherished mines and as the island where Napolean was famously exiled.

But besides its interesting history, the not-so-hidden treasure of the island is its beautiful landscape. Sheer cliffs, secluded coves and fruitful vineyards make up most of the breathtaking scenery you'll ever see.
