If your family are on the hunt for adventure and up for trying something new, why not sign up for exciting trials at the Action Station?
We've teamed up with PGL, the UK's leading provider of activity holidays to bring you endless opportunities for action outdoors. Why not whizz down the zip wire, scale the abseiling wall or take a leap of faith towards a trapeze? Have no fear, these high-excitement activities are all carried out under strict supervision from fully-qualified instructors.
Test your nerve on our climbing wall
Using our outdoor climbing wall on the tower, our qualified instructors will introduce you to the equipment and teach you how to recognise and control risks before learning basic skills and techniques.
Have a go at abseiling
What an exhilarating activity! Making your way down the tower leaves kids and adults alike with an overwhelming sense of achievement, as well as an understanding of risks and how to control them.
Whizz down the zip wire
Travelling at high speed from the top of the tower, suspended and harnessed from an overhead cable isn’t something you forget easily or quickly! It certainly requires some courage and determination.
Take the leap of faith
The Trapeze is a challenge also requiring some determination and courage. Sometimes called the ‘leap of faith’ you can succeed within your own parameters even if you don’t achieve the final dive for the Trapeze.
Take aim...try archery
Have a go at learning some basic archery skills. Our qualified instructors encourage you to develop your technique and show awareness of all safety measures.
Kids aged 7+ and adults are welcome to come along to Action Station.
Each session lasts 1½ hours and is overseen by one of our fully-qualified instructors that have been trained by PGL. We’ll provide all the equipment you need and just ask that you wear sensible shoes (think trainers, not flip flops!).
You can book a taster session for a single activity or a 5 or 7 session pass that’ll last your whole holiday. It all depends how daring you’re feeling…
You may find that activities vary from parc to parc and that during peak times, we might struggle to book the entire family or group on one activity at a time. That’s because we can only safely cater for up to 12 of you on each activity.
You’ll find Action Station available 6 days a week, and you can give your thirst for thrills a rest on Fridays. If you’re only staying on parc for a few days, we’d suggest buying a 5-7 session pass or less, this means that if we’re fully booked you won’t miss out on chances to try out the activities on parc (dependent on spaces available).
Please note, booking a 5 or 7-session pass does not guarantee that you’ll be able to try every activity. This is all dependent on which activities are running and spaces are available whilst you are on parc.
