An exciting way of teaching young children how to ride a bicycle.
Because our unique Learn to Ride lessons use specialist balance bikes that don’t have pedals, children can concentrate on the core skills of for easier riding.
Lessons are designed to build confidence, improve balance and provide a sense of independence through the use of fun games and activities.
Our Learn to Ride lessons are developed and accredited by Bikeright!, the largest cycle training organisation in the UK, our staff are fully trained by National Standards Bikeability Cycle Instructor Trainers. Bikeright! train over 20,000 children every year across the UK and Europe.
Our lessons run for an hour a day, six days a week (not Tuesdays) and we offer two levels of learning:
Level 1 - teaches balance techniques on our special range of balance bikes
Level 2 - teaches pedalling and braking on conventional bikes
After each session every budding cyclist receives a sticker and once they complete the course they cycle off with a certificate!
Free half day bike hire is offered to all children who attend a Learn to Ride session, so they can continue to practice in their own time.
Spaces are limited per session so secure your place by booking at the Mini Fun Station tent (during session time). All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Learn to Ride lessons are available on all our Mini Fun Station parcs, and opening dates vary from 29th April onwards. See your selected parc page for the exact service dates.
