Verona holiday

Butterfly is a small, yet attractive holiday park near Verona in Lake Garda. It has excellent on-site facilities and is exceptionally well maintained by the owners. If you are visiting Butterfly parc, then do not forget your camera, as the scenery is beautiful as is typical of this region of Italy.

When you arrive at the parc, the first thing you will notice is the attention to detail that the owners have given and it makes all the difference. The parc is very attractive and is a credit to the family who run it. The family pool, surrounded by palms, sets the scene of pure bliss and relaxation in which you can relax and sunbathe. There is also a separate pool for children, therefore giving them an area to play whilst you relax nearby.

After all that relaxing in the pool, why not drop into the bar and restaurant and enjoy a meal and a drink, whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. If you go beyond the parc, you will find a small man-made beach at the lakeside where you can soak up the sun and play with the children.

Sightseeing in verona: Travelling slightly further, you can take a gentle stroll to the beautifully quaint town of Peschiera with its stunning gardens and Renaissance buildings. From Peschiera, you can catch a train, which will take you on a pleasant 25-minute journey to the remarkable romantic city of Verona, which of course was made famous by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

At certain times of the year, you will find activities and festivals near to the parc. For example, if you are visiting between 17th June and 31 August, then why not visit the famous Verona Opera Festival, which is held in the delightful Roman Amphitheatre. You can also visit the Festival Latino Americano in Milan, which is held between 15th June to 15th August and features drama, crafts and Latin American dancing and forms part of the Fila forum.
