Lovely holiday despite the mosquitos, we were all bitten and some had quite painful reactions. We had to stay in the caravan after 7 to avoid them and we all wore repellant. Russ the camp courier was very helpful. The shop wasn't well stocked and very over priced. Caravan was basic and the decking very small unable to access it directly via the door. The grounds outside the caravan was poorly maintained with no grass just leaves and dirt. Caravans very close together. The ice creams available on the site was lovely and excellent value for money. Swimming pools were good but no in between pools two were quite deep then there was only the baby pool for those who can't swim. Weather was amazing. Gorgeous beach but too many sun beds that weren't really used. But overall a good family holiday.

Apparently all accommodation in holiday parks in Italy is crammed in like sardines so I guess this was no exception. Obviously going in August is going to result in a lot of heat and a lot of people so we weren't surprised at that, but we didn't realise that the whole spit of land encompassing Cavallino etc was quite so aimed at tourists alone, and we didn't have much of a chance to explore and find "proper Italy". Having said that, we were very well treated by the Eurocamp couriers, and if you have the funds to hire bikes for the whole family, the area is very well served with cycle paths. Public transport is good if pricey and Venice was absolutely wonderful although it does cost 24 euros per person to get there. Food on the campsite is good but international rather than gourmet Italian. Ironically, local/Italian food from the supermarkets costs more than buying the same or equivalent products in the UK. Lovely break and great to relax but wish it had been more "Italian".

Excellent facilities and couriers, but let down by accommodation. Mobile homes are very small and dated, with small pitches. Would not return with Eurocamp to this site.
