We absolutely loved it and so did our children. The casavio staff were fantastic, so polite, kind and helpful.

This camp is a bit of a mixed bag. The pool complexes and playgrounds are great and it has a fantastic beach that is easily accessible from all over the parc (7 access points). There is also lots of things to do nearby by, with the ferry to Venice readily accessible, a cheap supermarket 5 min drive away, and lots of things to do and see in nearby Jesolo.

The down side of this parc is the pine forest and the enforced quiet times. Firstly, the quiet times: there is a mandatory quiet time every day between 13:00-15:00. That doesn't sound too bad except that you can't even drive your car on site and they close the entrance/exit gate. This is very inconvenient. Your options are to either make sure you are offsite and don't need anything, be at the beach, or stay in your caravan. It is not ideal, especially for 2 hours! The second gripe I had, and the one that would keep me from returning to the parc is the pine forest. It may not be like this everywhere on the parc, but our caravan was in the forest and we received zero direct sunshine. This encouraged some vicious mosquitoes to always be around our deck, and also meant that with the humidity, wet clothing never dried. In our 10 day stay we never once sat on the deck which meant we were confined to our caravan. The second gripe, and a big one, is that pine trees drip sap. Sap is very, very difficult to get off car paintwork. We only discovered this when we were getting ready to leave and return our rental car. The camp staff were very unhelpful and their only comment was "we also hae a problem with the sap and can't get it off the windows". If they know its a problem, why the heck don't they warn people?!?. Luckily you can purchase resin remover at the local garage but the camp staff should have warned us about the problem as we could have then taken precautions. So as nice as the beach and area was, if we return to this area we'll be trying the camp down the road.

A very large park so expect to do a lot of walking. No toilet paper or soap in toilets, or toilet seats. Nice bar area with takeaway near our tent and on the beach. Tent was rather dirty (used tissues under bed and tube of tablets) and missing a chair. We wouldn't go again as it isn't our type of site, but would probably suit families. Venice was great and easy to reach.

Great holiday. Our lodge unfortunately had a few issues. Faulty lights in the bedroom, broken heater, Windows left open after cleaning and storm took place and soaked the mattresses. Tree cover was a little too densedense and sand got everywhere but I expected that on a beach campsite.

For a family with small children, it's hard to imagine better. We'll be back, but will look for bigger accommodation.

Llanelli Family (the eldest child is at school)
Ca Savio is a lovely site with plenty to do if there is sunshine a plenty. If however you get a lot of rain, you quickly realise that there isn't a lot lot to do as all the activities are outdoors with no cover. Not so good when you have young children and it rains a lot. It was just a pity that we had so much rain in the fortnight we were there.

The reps except one coloured lad were non existant, we were shown to our caravan and noted the check card said all light bulbs checked 'tick', thought that meant working only two out of five in the main area were. Mentioned this to a passing rep, her instruction go to our tent they will give you some bulbs. When I went there the lad who's name I didn't get who was a coloured lad was appalled at what we had been told, immediately went and got bulbs and replaced them immediately. A pity his colleagues didn't show the same enthusiasm.
