This parc is ideal for those looking to sample some extraordinary alpine activities. Situated only 20 minutes drive from the fir-lined green valleys of Zell am See-Kaprun which contrast with the glistening white slopes of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, provide an ideal opportunity for those after a snow fix with a morning summer skiing.
The action continues in to the afternoon with a wide choice of outdoor activities on offer. For the ultimate Alpine experience head to the Gipfelwelt 3000 which is situated on the highest point in the Salzburg region at an altitude of 3029m. Here you’ll find an array of activities for everyone, including a snow beach where you can chill out in a deck chair, snow slides, a glacier trail, a panoramic viewing platform with awe-inspiring views over the Hohe Tauern National Park, a bar made entirely of ice and more. Definitely a unique day out!
Pssst.. There are a variety of regional discount cards available from local tourist information points and ticket offices (Hike & Swim, Ski & Swim, Glacier & Lake and Zell am See-Kaprun Summercard) which provide access to the most popular attractions in the area.
