A lovely corner of Brittany, often overlooked as people head further south for a greater likelihood of good weather. Carantec is a sweet compact little town with one of the best markets we have seen, but beware - the market closes all streets in the town centre so don't try to drive there on Thursday morning.

A perfect holiday for our family (two adults, a three and a half year old and a 9 month old). Plenty to do, even on the odd rainy day; there's a great indoor playroom for little ones and the indoor pool is lovely for babies/toddlers (shallow enough for our baby to happily crawl about in). Obviously the outdoor pool is great too - and mostly shallow enough for our three year old to stand in.

The beach next to the park isn't as clean as it could be (blame irresponsible dog owners) but we did manage to find a clean patch for a little play one afternoon. For longer days at the beach with more freedom to explore, there's a blue flag beack at Roscoff which is lovely, also a few nice beaches at Carantec itself. The tide goes out very far so there are lots of little pools for spotting little fish and crabs in. If you have little ones you might need to take a parasol/umbrella as the beaches are very open.

The extras/safety features provided with the accomodation were really helpful (we booked baby bath, play tent, buggy, and there are door jams and socket covers, toddler cutlery and a night light in provided in all) We also asked for a gate for the decking which was fabulous as it provided an extra 'room' for the baby to crawl around in safety. If you are going with children I would recommend the play tent. It was sturdy and fun to play in, but moreso it provides extra storage so we would put the buggy and beach toys in there overnight, which gives you lots more space in the static caravan.

We all enjoyed our stay, it was fine with a very adventurous crawling/pulling up baby due to the way things are set up with families in mind (I'd say he's at the most difficult stage to holiday with so I can't imagine anyone not being able to cope). We would definitely return.

This is a lovely park in a gorgeous setting. The pitches are large, well set out and green. The water park is amazing and our 3 boys loved it and all the other sports available to them. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. We found the camp shop was expensive but there is a supermarket 5 min drive away.

A beautiful, peaceful parc. Loved the views over the bay, especially nice at sunset. The site restaurant was disappointing with a very limited menu. The surrounding area is lovely.
