Just 15 minutes away are the slides and chutes of Aquarive. This parc has great facilities for those with physical disabilities. The longest chute in Brittany is found at ‘Les Balneides’, which also has an indoor heated swimming pool.

Pont-Aven, under 35 km away, is the place to be inspired! Many famous artists have spent time here and to see it through their eyes take the ‘Painter route’ tour.
Bénodet is just a short stroll along the coast and welcomes you to visit its promenade cafés, crêperies and restaurants, as well as sandy beaches. Taste the local delicious jam and chutney and see how it’s made at L’Atelier des saveurs, ride the seaside train, discover the biscuit factory or take a look around the seaside museum.
To get a taste of home then visit the English inspired gardens – ‘Jardins de Rospico’. Four hectares are covered in 2000 plant varieties, some of which are for sale, including many palms and hydrangeas.
A short boat trip along the Odet River and you will sail into Quimper. Here you can find a 13th century cathedral, the museum ‘Beaux-Arts’, shops, markets and more. The best places to eat here are in the centre around the covered market or towards the railway station.
