Couriers were fantastic.. only problem was that the parc was shutting down for the season and barely any facilities were open Parc is very far from any sort of civilisation so need a car to get anywhere
Atlantique is a modest sized site , in a quiet area surrounded by wood and marshland , about ten minutes walk to the beach . The only facility onsite we made use of was the pool , which was warm , clean and very child friendly , with slides that should keep the pre teens happy ,and plenty of shallow paddling space and features for the toddlers . Being familiar with the area was helpful , Benodet, Concarneau worth visits. But the little gem is the access to the beach and lagoon at Le Letty ,perfect for some safe kayaking, swimming , kite flying and wildlife . Supermarkets are largely of the super rather than the hyper , with many of the smaller market outlets around . Largest is LeClerc at Concarneau . SuperU at Combrit . Diesel was about £1.01per litre , best price . General cost of grocery shopping is the best it has been for five years .
I strongly advise walking the paths and quiet lanes around the site , to take in the the variety of flora and fauna .
We had a very good holiday, plenty for 5 and 9 year old to to, was a very wet 2 weeks but the large indoor play area was a god send. had an issue with an older caravan, but staff were brilliant and moved us to a newer one the next day. Excellent cycle paths and beaches aswell.
2nd holiday with Eurocamp but this time more disappointing. Espirit holiday home dirty on arrival (cobwebs, previous occupiers socks and debris under sofa, mattresses etc..) duvets hired were really poor quality. Holiday home squeezed in between 2 others, decking looked onto bathroom window of next door, sun beds squashed down the sides, no grass area for children to play on. We had to chase for our bands and pre-ordered swim towels. Holiday home missing some key equipment (scissors, cafetiere) we were told cafetieres had been recalled when we asked. We were refunded our money once we went out and bought our own. Park large with lots of facilities but a little dirty and unkempt. Bicycle hire was horrendous. The guy there so unhelpful and it was expensive. Food ordered from takeaway was ok but nothing great. Pools and pool area was ok. The indoor soft play area was great as the weather was poor, but as it was the last week of the season a lot of alcoholic drinks/ ice creams were not available. Kids playground had broken equipment in it which was dangerous (slide had splinters coming out of side). Disappointing and would not return to this site.
Love the flexibility of Eurocamp, the parc was clean, well laid out with plenty going on. It was an ideal location for visiting the local area and had the weather been better it would have been a perfect holiday
We went as two families with 6 kids in total ranging from 1 to 8. The camp is smaller than we've been to before and is excellent for a cycling holiday with kids as there are plenty of off road or quiet road routes that the kids can manage. The beaches are lovely and the site itself is well positioned but the nightlife is poor and the bar is pretty appalling. The pizzas made on site are excellent if you want a take out but there's not much other than that unless you want crepes and croissants 24/7. The weather was changeable when we went and there is a great indoor play centre with a huge bouncy castle and soft play with a little area for younger ones and a couple of large TV screens for the kids to play xbox style games on. The couriers were brilliant: friendly, helpful and very quick to respond when we asked for extra blankets / gas bottles to be changed etc. The pool areas are smaller than they look but they provided variety and the beach was just a 5 minute walk (or 10 min meander with the little ones) which we cycled to at night sometimes too. A great holiday but it did feel very quiet at night compared to what we have been used to before.
