This region is dying to share its history and culture with museums everywhere: Can Llopis Romantic museum (Sitges) shows visitors life in the 18th century, Cau Ferrat Museum is the preserved house of the painter Santiago Rusiñol and then there's the Picasso Museum.
Whilst you are here you must go on a sightseeing tour to Barcelona to visit the famous architecture and stunning churches and cathedrals, and to explore the public parks and museums. There is a bus service to the beautiful city which leaves from outside the parc.
There's animals, water rides, shows and family games all rolled into one at Aqualeon - the only water and safari park combined in Europe. Whizz down the Kamikaze slide or whirl around the Black Hole before hopping on the safari bus to see the elephants and tigers or stopping off at the mini zoo to peep at the meerkats.
Meet the penguins face to face and discover the mysterious world of sharks in the 80m underwater tunnel at Barcelona’s aquarium. There are more than 325 species on show with dolphin shows, play area, mini train and pony rides.
If you're looking for cultural excursion then you will not be disappointed by the medieval town of Tarragona with its rich Roman history and places of architectural interest.
You should also visit the lively resort of Sitges which is renowned for its bars, restaurants and nightlife. Party time!
