Sarlat must be one of the Dordogne’s most-photographed towns, thanks to its clusters of medieval houses, lanes and churches. But don’t let that stop you snapping your way around this camera-ready gem.
Your parc, too, is definitely ready for its close-up. La Palombière is set in beautiful countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and immaculate grounds. The facilities are brilliant and include an indoor water park with slides, plus an outdoor pool complex with even more waterslides! Try a game of tennis, get frustrated at crazy golf or explore the grounds by bicycle. Explore further afield and you’ll find bicycle trails throughout the local countryside. Further still, you can swap two wheels for the oars of a canoe and paddle down the Dordogne river.
