Great holiday, lively camp with free buses to gorgeous beach. Continual background noise from a major road nearby, but this didn't spoil the holiday, still able to relax when the kids went to the Fun Station. Several groups of older teenagers got a bit out of hand on one night, but security on hand to stop trouble.
Great holiday :) Camp sight was very hilly. Was really glad not to have been placed over the other side of the road but were where all the facilities were. Animals, park, splash pool and sports were great. The beaches around had massive waves which were fun though the nearest beach was not great for the baby as there was not much of a calm section! Beautiful places to see around. Would recommend a visit to Biarritz beach, lots for the kids to do along the beach, Also La Rochelle beach if your any where near was really nice.
Very good park, especially for children - great pool, animal farm and play activities. Accommodation very cramped and hot ( without air-con). Many other (non Eurocamp) providers had air con. Dining out options on site were limited and expensive
Great stuff on the whole. The mobile homes get baking hot during the day; a bigger fan would make a big difference! The main pool can get a bit packed and there is of course the usual infuriating habit of people putting towels on sun beds and then disappearing for lunch or whatever. The spa pool is really well worth the money, it is heated and really great. Take advantage of the free busses; just ask for tickets from the camp reception. Prices for the takeaway, restaurant and bar are very reasonable but the camp shop is very pricey compared to nearby (if you have a car) supermarkets. Eurocamp and site staff are really friendly and helpful. Most of the other holiday makers were French which was great as I don't want to be surrounded by British when I'm in France. Use the centre beach in Bidart as it is excellent. Generally a lovely holiday
