- I love the setting of this parc; the river is just beautiful, and fun to play in and around. The walk to Cannobio, along the riverside path, is lovely. Once you get into Cannobio, there are some lovely restaurants, a Great Lake beach, with boat hire and an inflatable water obstacle course and a good selection of nice shops.
The parc itself is quite dark because of the tightly packed trees and shrubs; there was very little sun on our camping pitch.
There's no toilet roll, or soap in the toilet block... irritating if you forget to take yours in the middle of the night...
There are also no citronella candles on the restaurant tables, although they are sold in the shop, along with insect spray and wipes, so the owners realise that biting insects can be a problem.
I felt the wash blocks needed attention.
If it wasn't for the fantastic location, I wouldn't rate this parc highly at all, or recommend it, but it is worth visiting just for the setting. Just don't forget your loo roll...
