Sightseeing

The small town of Pescheira is within walking distance and has a nice selection of shops and restaurants. A short drive away is Sirmione, located on the peninsula that juts from the south of the lake. Wine lovers will love a visit to Zeni Museo del Vino, a family-run business that ships wine all over the world. Gardaland is close by and offers fun for all the family. Or why not hop on a train and spend a day in Venice, Verona or even Milan?

Step into the shoes of a Formula 1 racing driver for the day and take some practise laps around South Garda Karting’s track. This track is often used by up and coming drivers and has been visited by many an F1 driver. The track is open to children over the ages of 8 and more than 1.3 metres tall.

A boat trip to Malcesine is also highly recommended because from here you can take the cable car up the 2218 metre high Monte Baldo to enjoy spectacular views.

From Peschiera you can hop on a train and be in Verona in 25 minutes. Verona is a must-see city. It is endlessly romantic and very atmospheric, hence being home to the world’s largest opera venue and is supposedly home to the famous balcony from Romeo & Juliet.

Antica Sagra Madonna della Neve, Colà di Lazise

Experience one of Lake Garda's traditional festivals - The Ancient Feast of Our Lady of the Snows - in Lazise. There will be music, dancing and food stalls showcasing the best local produce and cuisine. There is a funfair for the children and big kids to enjoy, and the festival culminates in a fireworks display on the last evening. 2018 dates to be confirmed.

Off Parc Activities

This park has a small lakeside beach, perfect for relaxing in the sun. Fishing also gives you the chance to relax and take in your surroundings and is very popular on the lake. Boat trips and diving are also very popular activities on the lake and facilities are easy to come by. But if you fancy something more active then great watersports facilities can be found just 5 km away.

There are great cycling paths to take advantage of at this parc which run from outside the campsite along the Minicio River to Mantova and Monte Baldo. The gorgeous scenery and panoramic views here make the whole area a paradise for cyclists.
