Over the last mile or so getting to the holiday site was compromised by the density of street stalls and haphazard parking along the side street access (close to the beach serving the plentiful choice of holiday sites) leading to our selected location. The accommodation was as expected in terms of a 2-bedroom, airconditioned van with decking layout, but for some reason ours appeared to be (the only one that faced directly into the adjacent, parallel parked neighbor as far as I could see) parked back to front, rather than aligned as th others were. As the neighboring occupants were less than friendly, this really didn't help our holiday at all. The so called quality van allocated to us was superficially clean (swept and tidied), but the oven and the pots and pans were not at all clean. We chose not to use them and bought a pyrex dish with lid so that we didn't have to clean up someone else's lack of effort/cleanliness. As an example, some of the silding rack shelving in the oven did not easily slide due to the fact that the side supports were covered in baked on splattered oil/fat residue.
There had been no mention of the split in the camp site especially as the accommodation was away from all the site facilities. Would not use the site again due to the wife's mobility issues. Once you were over in the other side the site was fine.
Eurocamp are inconsistent regarding cleaning of caravans, each site is different, I do not like being told to clean the entire caravan, at one site and another site ,it's your holiday ,that's what the couriers are here for ,
