- The campsite is ran by les castels and all of their staff were approachable and very friendly. The owner took the time to find my wife some antiseptic cream after she was bitten and the shops were closed. On site the pool, activities, shop and food were to a high standard and not over priced.
The park itself is nice and clean and the pitches are big with adequate shade.
Now the bad bit - I found most (not all of them) of the Eurocamp couriers to be ignorant and everything was to much bother. Even though we went at the end of the season, if a 6 year old says "bonjour" as he walked past them the least they could do was acknowledged him, as the castels staff did.
The caravan was clean but very tired with a lot of bits hanging off. There was gaps in most of the windows that let in midges the 1st night until we blocked it.
The worst bit was there was a constant leak under the sink that we didn't notice until 1/2 way through the holiday, after we used a pan from under there and got sick (I can not say that was the direct cause but my grandson didn't eat and he didn't get ill).
We didn't complain at the time due to issues with my wife but dealt with it ourselves.
Overall the holiday was very good. It's a brilliant site to explore from with lots to see and do and lots of affordable activities to keep a active 6 year old occupied. What really let it down was the Eurocamp staff.
