Beautiful part of Loire Valley. Lots to see and do including sight seeing places of historical interest, watching the wildlife and outdoor activities. We had excellent wether which made a contribution to our holiday.
The camp was not too crowded when we went, so we could get a lounger at the pool etc. The kids loved the pool, we hired the go-karts, and there were lots of playgrounds to use. Very relaxing all round.
The parc itself is well laid out and tidy. We stayed in an Esprit 3 bed which to be honest was no different to the Vista we stayed in last year. It was clean and modern and the master bedroom was big enough to accommodate a travel cot, which we weren't expecting. (The Vista 2 bed model wouldn't have). The pitch was ok, a little garden maintenance wouldn't have gone amiss and the decking needed a little attention but overall the accommodation was fine. Eurocamp seem to have pretty good standards as far as I can see. The pool area and pools were lovely and kept the kids entertained all week. The play area is situated near to the restaurant and bar so the kids can go off and play while the adults relax. This is a huge plus as other sites we have stayed on weren't as well designed. The restaurant was lovely and we had a very enjoyable meal which we thought was quite reasonable (although we had just come from Disney). My two daughters loved the kids club and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My only criticism of this holiday was the couriers, well actually the girls were great. It was the guys. The one which met us on arrival didn't seem to know very much and was pretty useless. Then at the bar one night the (male) couriers who were off duty were effing and jeffing and didn't seem to mind that there were children not feet away from them. I appreciate the staff need to relax and unwind but this really shocked me and I was a bit disappointed with to be honest. I don't have a problem with swearing but not in front of the kids!!
