Easy to find, but its not 500metres from Dday beach, more like 1500 (10min walk). Lovely village area but car hire recommended to make most of lovely area. We had basic/dog friendly caravan. 2 bed 2 bath layout, very roomy for 4adults plus toddler and dog, but floor had not been mopped at all upon arrival (filthy feet). Park facilities great for toddlers and kids. End of season stay so quiet, can imagine it being busy peak. The Charleston restaurant is well worth a walk (near beach).
I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great few days, Reps were great especially Betty who did all she could to get us into our accommodation early after a long ferry crossing & drive.

The campsite was not that easy to find but was pleasant and well kept . The couriers were very helpful. We were there for the last week of the season so not everything was open. The camp shop was poorly stocked and the take-away was very basic. However supermarkets were close. St Aubin is convenient for visiting the Second World War beaches. Bayeux is with easy reach and we were able to buy a combined ticket for the Museum of the Battle of Normandy and the Bayeux Tapestry. The area is known as the Bessin and there are enough attractions nearby to fill an entire holiday. We liked the campsite and the area and will certainly go back another year.
