- We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our chalet and the reasonable quality of equipment therein. Our only gripe might be that we had a gas fire which was very tricky to light. There were many cold mornings as it was mid April, and unlike those chalets with an electric system we could not leave it on overnight (a HSE issue perhaps), to keep the rooms warm (and it was rather cold). The fire however was very efficient once lit and we had no other problem there. Euro camp staff were very polite and helpful upon settling in, but we didn't have a 'is everything okay' call like our companion friends two doors down. Everything else was fine however, the only other niggle was the wifi option. We needed to maintain contact for business reasons so paid the £20.00 to the associated company. However, we were disappointed that it only covered access for one of our computers/iphones. In this age wifi should be readily accessible for all, and many hotels do this at home and abroad. We do understand that wifi access was provided through a third party, but we felt that it might have been a good thing if Eurocamp advised people that £20.00 only covered one 'machine'. We had a very good deal with Eurocamp including our Eurotunnel booking as well as accommodation, we thought it was very good value for money and as such we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend you to anyone else wishing to enjoy a similar holiday.
