Had a holiday here 2 years ago and had a fabulous time so decided to go back this year and try to see more of the area and was not disappointed, the parc was as nice as we had remembered, the restaurant was excellent and extremely good value and the staff there and at the campshop were very friendly and the reception staff were also excellent, we planned to go to Florence on the train and one of the receptionist helped us enormously, sorting out train times and how to get tickets from the local station, it made for a very special day.
We had an excellent time, really relaxing. I think we chose a good time to be their, as it was quiet - any later in the year and I would imagine the park could get quite busy. The location is a bit remote and I think a car would be essential to get around and visit the lovelly villages towns and beaches. There is a shuttle bus available later in the season. We are planning to return.
The courier was new and didn't give us any information on places we could visit (unlike other sites we had stayed on). The Italians on the main reception were not very friendly either! Camp served its purpose for where we wanted to visit, but the others we used on the holiday were much better.
