Superb value for money €1.80 for a pint and great food and drink for the whole family in the local restaurants. Don't eat at the campsite.

Fantastic location and we love Lisbon and the surrounding coastal area.

Cascais is stunning, charming and picturesque. It is tourist friendly , clean and welcoming. A real unexpected gem. Guincho beach is buzzing with surfers etc, although the sea is not suitable for kids and inexperienced bathers. It is however lifeguarded. The back drop of the mountains and Sintra add to its beauty.Lisbon is obviously a cultural must and is easy to get to by train

Only 30 mins drive from Lisbon, great after a flight. Beautiful beach nearby. Camp site very chilled out. Drinks and food very cheap. Free wifi. Close to some great day trips, like Sintra and Lisbon. The only criticism I have is with the marketing by eurocamp. Whilst we loved the site, I was surprised to discover the location was actually 6 miles from cascais. And the beach not quite as close as intimated in the marketing. If we hadn't had a car, there would be the potential to be isolated there. Still, we had a lovely holiday and the site was lovely too.

Quarteira is a quiet town with some bars and plenty of Italian and fish restaurants along the sea front. There is very little in the way of evening entertainment though.

Felt Quareira to be a bit soulless. Beautiful beaches and especially on west coast where they are unspoilt
