There are some fantastic places to visit in the area, always plenty to see and do. Beautiful stretch of coastline also some marvellous museums dedicated to D-Day and all that followed. Beautiful towns and villages. Great part of France within easy striking distance from the UK but ever so different.

The various beaches, Gold, Juno, Omaha were excellent to visit. The memorials and museum at Omaha were incredibly moving. The museum at Aramanche was interesting. bayeuax tapestry and Bayeuax cathedral well worth a visit.only problem with the time of year being that some restaurants in St. sub in only open weekends.
