We went to the gardens at Marqueyssac. Brilliant.
Rocamadour. Fantastic.
Roque Gageac. Amazing.
Sarlat. Lovely medieval town. Lovely food and people.

Spectacular. So many places to visit and see the architecture, towns and countryside. Definite must visits - Sarlat , Domme, Castlenaud, Dordogne valley. Gardens of Marqueyssac and Eyrignac. Rouffignac Cave.

Not great with small children if the weather is inclement, but we would love to come back for a break without children since there are so many historic villages and beautiful scenery to enjoy for adults.
