The camp was in a good position for touring around the Dordogne area. We liked the tiny local village, St. Leon.

People were very friendly and helpful. Need a vehicle to get around to visit the region. The rivers Vezere and Dordogne have several beautiful towns and villages along their banks. There are numerous sites that offer an opportunity for those who wish to learn about prehistory. There are canoes for hire and boat trips to take. Cyclists should have a fun time exploring. Good region for local wine.

The Dordogne is simply stunning. The medieval villages are breathtaking. The beautiful scenery and flowing rivers throughout the region along with fine local food and friendly locals can only help make your visit to the Dordogne unforgettable
