So many places to visit around St.Avit, Le Bugue a delightful place ten mins away, there is an aquarium there and Bournat Village which could take you a whole day to discover. Sarlat a very interesting town of historic interest. Perigueux the capital of the Dordogne with smart shops and lovely restaraunts, also there is the Roman museum and the beautiful Cathedral. Various different places that have cave drawings, St. Christophe a Troglodyte settlement and so many other places, you need more than one visit to do them all!
