Absolutely gorgeous place the cascades was worth the climb even in the torrential downpour. Arbois and a vist to Pasteurs is always done and Lons Le Sauniers market is a must.
Plus the little restaurant on corner at Champangnole sold best trout dish ive ever had and very cheaply too

The area is beautiful and we are sorry we missed seeing it at its best. Disappointed not to have seen the waterfalls. Had not realised that there was a longish walk on rough terrain to see them. I do not walk well and we decided that the effort was not worth the risk of being unable to do it once we had started, especially in the rain.
