The region although a little wet had some interesting things to visit.

Chapel en le Frith
Bescancon, Baume les Dames and the Peugeot Museum all worth a visit. The Citadel at Bescancon is highly recommended. The area is very rural with many characterful villages. The hilly nature of the area tends to attract the rain.

The food, wine and surrounding countryside are superb. There are walks where you can see waterfalls and caves, as well as just wandering in the woods checking out the wildlife.
