We love the whole region in early season. Weather not too extreme and very little traffic. Local markets brilliant for cheeses, meats and wines.

Seemed lovely. Relaxed and pretty. Did a bike ride on the canal and would do some more exploring if I went again. It was flat and there were vineyards as far as I could see

Accommadation was first class. Staff were exceptional helpful. The site was near the town centre (5 mins walk) but far away not to be bothered by traffic. Also near the beach say 10 mins walk. Beach was well maintained and clean. Surrounding area great for exploring lots of little town near the sea. About 30 mins drive to Spain when you feel like a change.
Overall excellent

Very easy to get there from Scotland and easy to get around once arrived. Beautiful area, pretty villages and larger towns within easy reach.

This is a good area because of the variety of scenery. Argeles is very flat. The coast just a few miles south is hilly with beautiful villages to explore. The Spanish border is a short drive/bus ride/train ride away, so it's easy to visit Spain also. The Pyrenees are on the doorstep and the town of Perpignan is very interesting and worth a visit too. OH! And the sun shines a lot (about 300 days of the year although, I can't guarantee that)
