Sports and Activities

Cycling, Sicily

Cycling

Whilst hilly in places, it would be silly not to cycle Sicily. Head for the roads that meander around the northern and western coastlines. There are wonderful views at almost every turn, though a few steep ascents worth avoiding.

Golf

Golf

Surprisingly for an island that sometimes has water shortages; Sicily has five 18-hole golf courses, with the very beautiful Le Madonie the closest to the Eurocamp parc at El Bahira.

Hiking, Sicily

Hiking

Rugged, handsome and tempting – and that’s just the scenery. Sicily is a great place for hiking and walking. Discover the gorges around Mount Etna and the delights of Taormina.

Snorkelling, Sicily

Watersports

The waters around Sicily are crystal clear, making them perfect for windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling. There’s scuba diving and snorkelling dive schools at Isola Bella, the Blue Grotto on the Ionian coast and at the Grotta del Bue Marino on the tiny island of Filicudi. If you’ve never tried these sports before, you can take lessons on parc.
