Wonderful scenery throughout.
Only visit Pisa so see the leaning tower which could be on the day you return to Pisa airport do not waste a whole day.

Rome is a beautiful city but it is very hot in July and the queues for some attractions are huge. Pre-book tickets for the Vatican etc before you travel as we did.

Elba is a real gem. Very beautiful and unspoilt with fantastic beaches and clear seas that are perfect for snorkelling. We'd recommend the beaches at Fetovaia and Cavoli. Pomonte has a pebbly beach (which gets very hot) but its worth a visit to snorkel around the shipwreck just offshore. Inland Marciana is a lovely hilltop town and the cable car is a great experience and provides fantastic views of Elba and beyond. Another highlight was exploring the south of the island by speedboat (hire company is on the beach just a few minutes from the campsite). There are some lovely coastal walks, one of which is just outside the campsite and leads to a lovely small cove that's great for snorkelling.

Rotterdam, Netherlands
Our favorite place was the ropes course recommended to us by the Eurocamp couriers. It was a perfect break from sightseeing and being a little burned out on the pool.
