3 towns close by, all different and all worth a visit. Platja D,Aro. San Feliu and Palamos. Many beaches and coves to choose from, most great for snorkling. Walks along the Cami Rondda (coastal paths) are stunning. The beaches of Parafrugel (Calella and Golfet) are breathtaking. Weather was perfect when we were there. Hot and sunny. Lovely food. Fish, paellas and fiduas. Supermarkets are many and close by, lots of choice. Easy reach from Cardiff with Veulling. Car hire recommended altthough the site (Cala GoGo) had everything you need.

Have been to this area many times and still finding new things to visit. Towns small and not too commercialised

Stunning coastline made up of countless little coves and beaches., which are easily accessible by car or by foot As it's the Med, the water is clear and mostly calm, so it's perfect for families with children. The sea is also great for snorkelling. We also discovered some lovely little fishing villages and had some exceptional seafood lunches. The cost of food in restaurants was really affordable and the quality of the meals were excellent.
