Asturiasi is a quiet but nice northern Spanish area Noja is not typical. It modern and a bt brash all traces of the original fishing village have been erased but the place would be good for families with small children as would the camp site

Santander is interesting with shops and restaurants and easily accessed by ferry from across the bay.
Loredo is a big resort but mainly aimed at the local market.
Fabulous scenery in most directions inland.

A "hidden" gem of Spain and easy to see why so many Spanish go there.Wonderful sandy beaches, excellent food (Isla is a foody s paradise). Santander is a great city and easily visited by ferry; towns around Noja eg, Laredo, Santona, Isla are beatifull and a joy. Bilbao only an hour or so away.

Have said 9 because there is always room for that little extra. We were very happy there with everything. In the four days we were there we went to Bilbao, loved it, Santander, and a couple of local villages on the last day. The weather was kind to us
