Camping

including the Pyrenees in the north. Camping

Many of Eurocamp's campsites in Spain are situated in a region called Catalonia that borders with France. This region has a contrast of landscapes including flat areas of vineyards and olive groves and the jagged rocky coastlines of the Costa Brava. Barcelona can also be found in this region and is a must for everyone visiting Spain. There are always day trips by coach if you don't have your car with you. Barcelona is one of the most exciting cities in Europe and boasts some of the most magnificent architecture, including many stunning buildings designed by Gaudi. Picasso and Miro also spent most of their lives here and there are excellent museums housing some of their best works. Barcelona also has many excellent markets selling superb antiques and crafts.
Costa Dorada is further down the coast south of Barcelona and North of Valencia. It is here that you will find the Catalan Pyrenees, the most unspoilt and wild area of Spain. Further down the coast still you will find Costa Azahar, the orange blossom coast and the town of Alcossebre which is a paradise of tropical plants, waterfalls and exotic birds.
