Le Ranolien, Perros-Guirrec, Brittany

Looking out over glittering seas, le Ranolien is set in a stunning location. Brittany is one of the most distinctive and beautiful regions of France, with a picturesque coastline, pretty villages, historic towns and a Celtic culture, steeped in myths and legends. Peaceful walks include the Goas Lagorn Valley at Trébeurden, or along the shoreline at Penhoat Lancerf which is filled with wildlife. From La Pergola there are many beautiful woodland trails following the River Hérisson and its magnificent waterfalls. To the west, the Cirque de Baume is a beautiful valley with caves and woodland. The landscape is rich and varied, with yellow-stone villages surrounded by orchards and vineyards producing highly respected and, in some cases, most unusual wines.
