Gymbabes

Gymbabes sessions are 30 minutes long and are similar to the “regular” UK programme. The session begins with a gentle warm up and action song. Equipment is randomly set up so your baby can go and explore where they like.

Throughout the session parents work very closely with their babies and Tumble Tot couriers are at hand to suggest different uses of equipment dependent on the ability of your child. The session then closes with another fun action song and sticker time.

Walking to 2 year olds
This programme is 30 minutes long and similar to the “regular” UK programme. The equipment is set up in a circuit and children are encouraged to venture their way around it and co-ordination items are available for them to play with too.

After 10 minutes children and parents are all called together for circle time, which consists of rhymes and an action song. After this the children have more time to play on the equipment. The session then closes with one last circle time.

2 – 3 year olds
This programme is quite different to the “regular” UK programme and runs for 45 minutes. Equipment is laid out in a circuit with co-ordination items available in the middle so children can go and explore where they choose.

The session begins with circle time where there is a little chat session and an action song, and finishes with one final circle time consisting of an action song and sticker time.

To ensure all sessions are fun and safe for children please note the following:

- All children must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian
- Bare feet are best for Tumble Tots.
- Suitable leg-wear is recommended to be worn to allow your child to move freely
- Parents/ guardians should wear comfortable clothing and footwear (Parents/ guardians are asked not to wear high heels or stilettos to avoid treading on little hands and feet!)
- Support your child by holding the back of his/her T-shirt. Avoid holding his/her hand as these need to be free for climbing and to aid balance
- It is important you remain alert at all times to support and encourage your child where necessary
