Burgundy is a prosperous region probably most famous for its vineyards which produce some of the finest wines in the world. Most of the village names in the region read like a wine merchants list! The beautiful countryside is one of the many reasons why visiting this region is so popular with holidaymakers. There are stylish towns and ancient Roman towns to visit whilst in Burgundy as well as the numerous vineyards to take advantage of some wine tasting!
