There is also the abundant wildlife and nature at the Everglades, the vast marine life or the many nature reserves to visit. If sport is your thing, you are on the doorstep of championship golf courses, excellent fishing, both coastal and deep-sea, motor racing at the Daytona 500 or why not catch a baseball game with the locals? Florida FlightThe only way reach Florida is to fly. With many airlines operating to the USA, finding your flights can seem like a daunting task. Relax, as Eurocamp can take the hassle out of booking the right flight for you and your family - simply ask our friendly sales staff for more information.

 

There are four major airports in the state of Florida; Orlando International, Orlando Sanford, Tampa and Miami and all are very accessible to the campsites we are featuring. Flight times to Florida direct from the UK vary between 10-12 hours.

St Petersburg

 

Busch Gardens

A family adventure park with thrilling roller-coaster rides, one of the country's premier zoos, live shows, restaurants, shops and games. Busch Gardens provides excitement for guests of every age.

 

Pinellas Trail

This 34-mile trail runs alongside the campsite at St Petersburg. Offering outdoor enthusiasts, open spaces, wildlife, flora and fauna. Grab your in-line skates, put on your jogging shoes or hop on your bicycle and enjoy the fresh air.

 

Gulf of Mexico

With over 35 miles of powder-white beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, from undeveloped, isolated island hideaways to wide, soft city beaches, you find exactly what you want on this coast of Florida.

 

 


 

 

Naples

 

Everglades National Park

Covering over 1.5 million acres this sub-tropical preserve is world famous. Take an airboat ride and go croc-spotting or simple enjoy the native plants, animals and rich bird life, this is an area not to be missed.

 

Marco Island

Is one of the oldest inhabited areas in the United States and a great place to visit. Take the Marco Island Trolley for an overview of the island, picnic on the white-sand Tigertail beach, or lunch aboard the paddle wheel cruise boat Rosie.

 

Fishing

You couldn't ask for a better location for fishing than southwest Florida. Go backcountry fishing in the calm waters of bays and creeks or enjoy offshore fishing in the Gulf of Mexico over wrecks and reefs. Either use a guide service or go on your own, you won't be disappointed.

 

 


 

 

 

Key West

 

Conch Tour Train - Key West

Take in the sights on this 90 minute tour, which has been in operation since 1958. Highlights include Mallory Square, the Harry S. Truman Little White House, Schooner Western Union and more.

 

Watersports

Snorkelling, Water ski, knee Boards, Rafts, Wave runners, Jet-skis, Banana Boat Rides, Sunfish Sailings, Hobie Cats, Kayaks and more all available in this area.

 

Southernmost Tip

The Southernmost Tip of the Keys and the whole of the USA is where to stand against a backdrop of endless blue ocean and say 'cheese'. Cuba is 90 miles away and Miami is just over 120 miles away.
