Events:

Perpignan: Holds the Ida y Vuelta Festival at the beginning of June each year. The festival  is a mixture of street parties, home-grown musical talent, spread over three days. Cap d'Agde: stages five nights of glorious firework action to rival any in the world around the beginning of July every year.
