- We endeavor to minimise our environmental impacts and support activities and projects to protect and restore the natural environment.
- We seek to assess the negative impacts of our operations across Europe and take steps to address these.
Eurocamp Parcs
For the second year running we have invited our parc owners to enter our 'Eco-Conscious Awards', designed to rate 'green' initiatives implemented by each parc, such as recycling or energy reduction ideas.
The winners received a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze Award - just look for the logos below on the parc pages.
 
AITO Award
 We are pleased to announce that Eurocamp received the prestigious 5-star award for responsible tourism for its efforts in protecting the environment, conserving natural resources and minimising pollution.
Carbon Offsetting
Each time we heat our homes, take a flight or drive the car, C02 is added into the atmosphere. C02 is a greenhouse gas released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt. We can all take simple steps to reduce the amount of C02 we produce and we can also offset the rest. Offsetting means paying someone to reduce C02 in the atmosphere on your behalf. In that way we can pay for the damage we are causing and the money helps
to fund an important transition to a low carbon future for many developing countries.

Our Five-Year Plan
To further support our environmentally friendly practises, Eurocamp has developed a five year plan, covering: -
- including reducing energy consumption at all of our Eurocamp offices and ensuring that, in the future, energy saving devices will be fitted as standard in all of our accommodation.
- ensuring our accommodation inventory is sourced as locally as possible.
- ensuring our accommodation is made from recycled materials where possible.
- promoting the use of rail to reach your holiday destination and bicycles rather than the car when on holiday

 All Eurocamp paper brochures and direct mailings are printed on paper from sustainable forests.
- Look out for our recycle logo or pass your brochure or mailing onto a friend who may be interested in taking a Eurocamp holiday too!
- Provide us with your email address and we can email all of our special offers and even your holiday confirmation to you, rather than send more paper.
Did you know?
In conjunction with the World Land Trust, Eurocamp's on-going business transactions have helped contribute towards the purchase of 14,000 acres of Brazilian Rain Forest, which will be protected forver.
In conjunction with Climate Care, Eurocamp are offering you the chance to offset your C02 by contributing to costs as follows:
