Barcelona Guide - Eating Out
Barcelona boasts a dazzling array of cafes and restaurants offering international specialities, ranging from traditional Spanish Tapas and Catalan dishes to American cuisine. A wide selection of cafes and restaurants can be found in Paseo de Gracia and Las Ramblas to suit most budgets. Speciality seafood dishes can be found around the the port area Barceloneta.
Catalunya produces a variety of fresh seafood, meat, game and fruit and vegetables, which are combained in unusual and delicious ways. Lunch is served from around 1pm-4pm whilst dinner starts around 8pm and is often served into the early hours of the morning.
During the evening it is the lively gothic quarter near Las Ramblas and port area that are worth a visit for a selection of bars and clubs.
