Holiday Green is set in a beautiful pine forest just 7 kilometres from Frejus and it is one of the best parcs on the Riviera offering a wide range of activities. The huge Californian pool complex is great fun for all the family and includes a children’s pool with water games, and a new covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and Jacuzzi. Throughout the season there are aqua aerobics, water polo and a water volleyball tournament and in July and August there are also swimming lessons, fun water-skiing and even deep-sea diving instruction. Camping Domaine de Massereau is located on the estate of the same name, a few kilometres south from the small city of Sommières and just 35 kilometres from Montpellier. Set in the heart of the Massereau wine estate of 40 hectares of vines, grown by the owner, the parc has a swimming pool with slides, a children’s pool, trampoline, mini golf, running track, bike track, tennis, shop, playroom, bar and a restaurant offering grills done on a wood fire, pizzas and take away snacks. Situated in the green pine forests of Lido de Jesolo, just north of Venice, Camping Waikiki is an attractive parc with direct access to a beautiful sandy beach. The parc offers a swimming pool, a pizzeria restaurant, supermarket/bazaar, playarea, bike hire and a fully equipped fitness centre. The entertainment team provides fun for everyone with games and competitions and there are even swimming lessons and Italian courses on request. There is plenty to see and do in the area - Lido de Jesolo has an excellent choice of shops, cafes and restaurants plus the family favourite, Aqualandia water park. Villanova Park, situated between Barcelona and Salou, is set on a hillside overlooking Villanova bay. This well equipped parc has attractive landscaped gardens and palm trees and the bar and restaurants are housed in a beautifully restored Catalan farmhouse. The parc has a pool complex with two large swimming pools, a paddling pool, a new indoor pool and a wellness centre including a Jacuzzi and sauna (payable), as well as spectacular floodlit fountains, a bar, restaurants, play areas, supermarket and a souvenir shop. El Bahira is located amongst dwarf pine trees close to San Vito Lo Capo on Sicily’s northern coast, just west of Palermo. The parc has its own private beach reached via a pathway through the rocks and offers a bar, self service pizzeria, children’s playground, mini market and a large swimming pool filled with clear blue water from the Mediterranean. Activities such as football, table tennis and basketball are available, and even supervised deep sea diving at the beach of the nearby charming coastal town of San Vito Lo Capo. This town is famous for its annual couscous festival in mid September and nearby are the Zingaro Nature Reserve and the hamlet of Scopello, where scenes from the film Ocean’s Twelve were filmed.
