- • Do I need to advise you of my new car details and registration number?
No, unless the new vehicle is over 1.80m, or you are travelling on motorail.
- • If I want to add/remove a roof box, bikes or a trailer to my booking, do I need to advise you?
Yes, if we have booked any travel arrangements for you as they need to be amended with the operator.
- • How much time must I allow between my ferry departure time and arriving at port?
Long sea ferries generally start loading up to 2 hours prior to sailing, short sea sailings approximately 1 hour.
- • How do I find details of how to get to my parc?
There is a link to the AA route planner click "getting there" on the main menu and then scroll down and click on "route planner".
- • Where can I find out about road tolls?
- • Do you provide taxi transfers from airports?
We can now organise transfers from your arrival airport to selected parcs, either one way or return. Contact us for further information.
- • Can I bring additional persons home on my ferry crossing?
No, the only exception however is if you are travelling with EuroTunnel as bookings are made per car rather than car & passengers.
- • I am going to have my own personal insurance so why have I got your insurance on my booking?
As part of our commitment to ensure that all customers have sufficient insurance cover, we add our cover until you provide us with alternative details. You must provide us with alternative details before our insurance cover starts, i.e. the date you pay for your holiday in full, or, in the case of flight inclusive bookings, from when you pay the insurance premium.

- • Are there duvets in the accommodation?
Duvets are not provided but pillows and blankets are included in all accommodation for 2007.
- • Can I add linen hire at any time & how much is it?
Yes, linen can be added right up until the day before your departure. Double £14, single £8 per set.
- • Are towels included in the linen pack?
Yes, 1 towel per single pack, 2 per double pack as well as sheets and pillow cases.
- • What type of bedding do I need for the convertible beds in the mobiles?
The sofa bed converts into a double bed so double bedding is advised.
- • Will a cot fit in one of the bedrooms in mobile homes?
It will fit in the 2nd or 3rd bedroom in all of the following models: Premier, Monaco Deluxe, Siena, Versailles, Deauville, Monet, Venezia. In accommodation where this is not possible the living area will have to be used. There is a detachable side rail for a bed in some models of mobiles - see page 201 in our main brochure for more details.
- • What is included in a Welcome Pack and how much is it?
For just £6, you can pre-book a Welcome Pack up to 4 weeks before departure to provide you with essentials for your 1st night. A pack contains 2 x 500ml bottles of water, a bottle of red wine (75cl), 2 x 200ml cartons of fruit juice, a 150g jar of olives and sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, whitener and UHT milk. As well as a toilet roll, tea towel, dish cloth, scourer, washing up liquid, bin liner, bar of hand soap and matches.
- • Is air conditioning in every room in the mobile homes?
Air conditioning is situated in the main living space of holiday homes where booked (on selected sites and accommodation only)(supplement of £1-£5 per night on selected sites and accommodation only).
- • What equipment is provided in my accommodation?
A detailed inventory is on page 141 of our European Guide which you will be sent in your travel pack. Alternatively check our accommodation pages.
- • Can I use electrical appliances in a tent?
There will always be a spare socket available however due to the variable nature of power supply on parcs these should only be used for low power items, e.g. phone chargers and never for heat generating elements.
- • When can I get into my accommodation?
Accommodation will be ready from 3pm. On most parcs, if you arrive before 3pm, you cannot go into your accommodation but can make use of parc facilities.
- • Can friends & family join us for part of our stay?
As long as accommodation & site restrictions are adhered to, other people can join you for £9 per person per night for a maximum of 3 nights. You must notify us of all amendments before departure.
- • Is air conditioning in every room in the mobile homes?
Air conditioning is situated in the main living area of holiday homes where pre-booked (on selected parcs and in selected accommodation only).

- • Where can I find up to date information on the holiday parc?
Click on the individual parc pages for more detailed information. Your local guide, distributed in your Travel Pack will also provide lots of site information.
- • What happens if I arrive late on site & do I need to inform you?
You should plan to arrive by 8pm. If you arrive after 10pm, you may need to leave your vehicle at the entrance and walk to your accommodation as most parcs have access restrictions after that time. Please call the courier in advance (parc phone number will be in the Local Guide) to advise them of your arrival time. It may be easier to pack an overnight bag to save carrying your luggage to your accommodation on foot. Also, as the shop will normally be closed then, you may choose to order a Welcome Pack that includes essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, matches and toilet roll - new for 2007 and on sale in January!! - • Can my child join a children's club they are too old/young for?
If you have a child that would prefer to be with their sibling and is close to the entry age of the club, then subject to availability and suitability of the activities, this shouldn't be a problem. Children under 4 yrs cannot attend children's clubs but may use the Mini Fun Station service if available. Please speak to the couriers.
- • Can I book the children's clubs in advance?
All clubs operate on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance. On arrival at your parc, please liaise with the children's courier who will advise on availability.
- • What time do the children's club sessions run from?
There will normally be a morning and an afternoon session lasting 2½ hours every day apart from Tuesday, exact times arranged by the couriers. Base also runs off-site activities and evening sessions.
- • Can I arrange for my child to stay longer at the sessions?
All children must be collected at the appointed time. Children are signed in & out and so a responsible adult must be present at this time.
- • What type of activities take place in the children's clubs?
Depending on the type of club, activities include nature trails, treasure hunts, picnic days, team games e.g, rounders & volleyball, sports coaching, parachute games, mini olympics, arts & crafts and dance & drama.
