Holiday in Frejus

Frejus, located on the Cote d’Azur, is a pleasant coastal town neighbouring Saint-Raphael, Var, which effectively forms one town. There are many reasons to visit Frejus, but one of the most popular reasons is to see its many sights. Port Frejus is surrounded by delightful sandy beaches, which compliment its natural heritage and when set against a backdrop of the Esterel hills.

The port can accommodate up to 750 moorings, which makes it a popular location for leisure boating and attracts many people to the local events such as the Roc Azur mountain bike event. If you like walking, then there are some great walks around Frejus, which are sure to impress. A stroll past the Malpasset dam located on the Reyran river, which incidentally burst in 1959 destroying much of the town, will make the walk worthwhile with its ancient monuments and Mediterranean flora such as Pine, Oak, Heather and wild strawberry trees.

Essentially, a holiday in Frejus has something for everybody with its historical, cultural past and its modern-day beautiful beaches and delightful port.
