Campsite Description

The combination of rugged moorland and deep forest make our Spiers House campsite a rare and untamed natural environment.

While just as pretty as any of our UK camping sites, Spiers House also offers a suggestion of wildness, through the unusual combination of forest and dramatic moorland. The Forest Rangers here can help you to discover all about the area’s geography, flora and fauna – or you can simply explore the waymarked cycle and walking trails for yourself. But however you choose to get back to nature here, you will find a fresh view and a rewarding experience around every turn in the path.

As UK Escapes are all about getting back to nature, there are no fridges or electricity in any of our UK tents. We have though included a cool box (ice packs available on arrival) and lanterns with rechargable batteries provided.
