Our 19th year at this parc. Set on a sandy beach and surrounded by mountain views, Playa Joyel offers a naturally beautiful location.

A friendly welcome is assured at Playa Joyel, together with enough amenities to keep even families with older teenagers happy. With two tennis courts and a popular underground disco which is open every night in July and August. The main attraction is the beautiful beach that runs next to the parc. Known as the ‘Green Coast’, for the sparkling green and blue waters of the sea and the lush scenery all around, Cantabria promises you incredible views from the ocean to the majestic peaks of the Cantabrian and Picos de Europa mountains behind you. Cantabria also brings you so much of Spain’s rich folk culture, and Noja is close to the richly historic port of Bilbao which is at the heart of the Basque country.

Local events

Events in the area include the Open-Air theatre - the 'Plaza Porticada' which holds 3,000 people. The theatre has a cosmopolitan programme of ballet, concerts and singers during the summer months. There is also International Canoeing Week - held every month, which includeds competitions and during August, the 'Descent of the Sella' has become a popular event.

For fly drive Bilbao has an airport or alternatively ferries are available into Bilbao or Santander.
