Parc description
Our 4th year at this parc. Set amidst a fragrant pine forest close to the Atlantic coast, this is the perfect place for active or relaxing holidays.
Western Portugal offers a refreshing change of pace – huge open skies, culturally vibrant towns and Atlantic rollers breaking onto wide empty beaches. Nestling midway along the Portuguese Atlantic coast San Pedro de Moel is a quaint holiday village, with cobbled lanes and a selection of bars and eateries. This ‘Orbitur’ parc offers a great mix of peaceful gardens and gentle sports with a swimming pool, tennis court, bike hire and kid’s play area - as well as a supermarket and restaurant. From here, take a trip to nearby Leiria, a Moorish town with a lively market and great authentic tavernas and restaurants.
Local events
There are a host of festivals during July, August and September in Lagos, including the Feira da Arte Doce (sweets) and the Feira da Gastronomia (food and wine) and in September you can dance the night away at the Flamenco festival!
Getting there
For those wishing to fly-drive there are a choice of flights available from the UK to Lisbon and Faro. For those prefering to drive, take a ferry to Santander.
