Parc description

Our 4th year at this parc. Close to fabulous beaches and a charming little town, Valverde is a very relaxing choice.

This lovely resort, shaded by lofty pine trees, has resisted the highrise frenzy of many along this sunkissed coast. With an authentic core of whitewashed streets, there is a sprinkling of excellent restaurants and a fabulous, never-too-crowded beach. There is also a €195 million motor racing circuit, 8 miles from the parc that houses numerous events - a must for motor-racing fans. Valverde is a well-thought out ‘Orbitur’ parc, offering modern accommodation, some pitches with sea views, complimented by manicured gardens, a swimming pool, supermarket and restaurant. Close to a peaceful nature reserve, Valverde offers the chance to explore the other side of the Algarve.

Local events

There are a host of festivals during July, August and September in Lagos, including the Feira da Arte Doce (sweets) and the Feira da Gastronomia (food and wine) and in September you can dance the night away at the Flamenco festival!

Getting there

For those wishing to fly-drive there are a choice of flights available from the UK to Lisbon and Faro. For those prefering to drive, take a ferry to Santander.
