Our 3rd year at this parc. A small and friendly parc that lets you discover the real Gascony in a very unspoiled location.

The parc is simple but friendly and features a swimming pool; children’s play area, games room, snack bar and a small shop. This area of France is famous for its oysters and potatoes and there are many restaurants scattered through the island’s villages where you can enjoy the authentic dishes. For the more energetic, the waters of Ile De Ré are great for water sports enthusiasts where you can enjoy windsurfing, sailing and yachting. Why not leave the car at the parc and hire yourself a bike from the local village? With over 60 miles of adapted cycle tracks, which link all of the beaches and main villages, you can really enjoy this magnificent island and its slower pace of living to the full.

Local events

The spectacular Tour d'ile de Re Yacht Festival is held on 7th May; the Bordeaux Fete de Vin, a celebration of the region's most famous export runs from 1st to 4th July; Francofolies celebrates French music ans song at La Rochelle between 12th and 17th July, and the weekly Summer Music Festival is held at Pauillac from 22nd July to 26th August.

Getting there

Regional airports at Nantes and La Rochelle make fly drive an easy option. Alternatively, ferries to St Malo, Caen, Cherbourg and Roscoff are available.
