Our 23rd year at this parc. With a superb beach and pool complex on parc and a lively town close by, this is a favourite for families with older children.

The parc itself is picturesquely situated on a steep hillside close to a beautiful sandy cove. In addition to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, it offers you fine views of the Mediterranean from the bar terrace, a good restaurant, excellent take-away, well-stocked supermarket and two excellent pools. All of the pitches are on terraces, some quite steep, and some with stunning views over the bay of nearby Palamós, and with some enjoying the shade. The superb beach nearby is safely accessible via some quite steep steps and a footbridge over the busy coast road: and there is even a little tractor-train to pick you up around the parc and take you down to the footbridge. Yet while everything you need is right here in the parc, many people particularly teenagers like to seek out evening entertainment by taking a stroll into the lively and fashionable resort of Playa d’Aro.

Local events

Festivals range from the world-famous Barcelona Guitar Festival from 15th March to 15th June, to the rustic charms of the Snail Festival in Lleida from 20th to 22nd May. The European Balloon Festival in Igualada from 6th to 10th July on the other hand, is a spectacular display of around 40 hot air ballons from around the world.

Getting there

With a choice of regional airports including Barcelona and Reus, fly drive is an easy option. Ferries are also available to Santander and Bilbao.
